Who doesn't love dogs and our Nation's Heroes?

We are Joe and Heather Juliani and have personally visited The Patriotic Service Dog Foundation and met some of the Veteran recipients and the service dogs. The mission of this foundation is a cause we chose to support and hope you do too.

Please JOIN US in our mission to help provide highly trained Service Dogs that will support our returning veterans to become more independent, self-confident and help them adapt to life outside the military and law enforcement.

These dogs are provided at NO COST to the veteran.

PATRIOTIC SERVICE DOG FOUNDATION was established to provide highly trained service dogs to those in need that can benefit from a service dog at no cost to the recipients, including but not limited to wounded service men and women of the United States Military Forces and first responders. Through donations solicited from the general public  will provide support for the raising, care, and training of service dogs from puppyhood to Certification with a recipient as a
"Service Dog Team".

WHY DO SERVICE DOGS COST SO MUCH?

Training a service dog and teaching their handler properly is expensive, and we take the responsibility of training
service dogs very seriously. That’s why we work with a limited number of veterans and first responders each year so
we can give each team the one-on-one attention they need.

We invest hundreds of hours of training into each dog and hundreds more caring for them. This includes
high quality dog food, grooming, vet care, equipment and training each handler.  It also includes
accommodations and support for each Veteran while they are in the training program

Here is a breakdown of what goes into the cost to provide a Certified Service Dog to a Veteran or First Responder.

  • Puppy price
  • Veterinary care, vaccines, preventatives, spay/neuter etc
  • Health testing
  • Dog food
  • Grooming
  • Supplies such as collar, service dog vest, leash, booties etc
  • Board and Training
  • Follow up training after dog is placed
  • Yearly Certifications

Typically it requires about 16 months of training to certify a Service Dog Team. Because we believe lifetime support is so important to the success of our service dog teams, we include it at no extra cost.
